Aston Martin Rapide (2011)

The Rapide was not the first four door car made by Aston Martin - that was the Lagonda - but this is the first Aston Martin badged four door saloon. Far from being a stretched DB9, the Rapide is a car in its own right, designed to chauffeur its occupants around in a high degree of luxury.

 

This Rapide is in the very smart specification of Onyx Black with a Sandstorm leather interior. It comes with a sizeable options pack including a rear seat entertainment system, ventilated front and rear seats, an alarm upgrade, auto dimming rearview mirror with garage opener and a rearview parking camera system amongst others. With such an options list, long distance journeys will just melt away. To avoid any confusion however, it must be pointed out that this is not a later 'S' model - the badges were added by a previous owner and can be removed if required.

 

The V12 at the heart of this car eats up the miles in rapid but sublime comfort and although a four door, the exhaust note instantly tells you - and onlookers - that this is still a very serious performance car with 0 - 60mph coming up in just 5s and ultimately reaching 184mph.

 

With a mileage of 52,455, this Rapide has a full Aston Martin service history through the Edinburgh, Stratstone of Wilmslow and Reading dealerships, as well as some works undertaken by marque specialists Chicane. And due to an unexpected rodent issue, the car's wiring loom was replaced in 2021.

This Rapide is in excellent condition and ready for a new owner and passengers to enjoy immediately. The car is presently adorned with a private number plate - DB09 EVO - which can be sold with the car for an additional £1,000 and the existing bespoke car cover can also be sold with the car for £500.
