Aston Martin DB7 Vantage Volante (2001)

The Aston Martin DB7 Vantage was the first car to be fitted with the all new V12 engine, the first time a V12 had been fitted into a production Aston Martin. But with the Volante version, 'cool' hit a new level and it became one of the fastest open top Aston Martins ever made.

 

This DB7 Vantage Volante was first registered in November 2001, sold via Stratstone of Wilmslow and comes with the 5 speed ZF automatic transmission and all the usual Aston Martin refinements, though this is a standard car with no factory fitted options.

Thanks to its lovely colour combination of Mendip Blue with a Light Grey colour leather interior, Pacific Blue carpets and highlights, Burr Walnut wood cappings and with a blue hood and cover, this is a striking Aston Martin from all angles. The car comes with a  full service history undertaken first by Stratstone of Wilmslow until mid-2003, then by non-Aston garage Turner Whelan of Stockport to late 2012, then via BM Aston specialists in Cheshire and Stratstone of Derby to early 2016. Since then, all servicing and works have been undertaken by marque specialists Chicane in Hampshire. Most importantly, this DB7 Vantage Volante has had the all-important plugs and coils replaced by Chicane as part of a major service in mid 2020, along with a fresh set of tyres.

In October 2022, the current owner enjoyed a long drive touring Europe and the car has just had a full service prior to being offered for sale and she is in very good condition. This is a genuine opportunity to acquire a truly factory built original DB7 Vantage Volante in great order - ready in time for the approaching Spring driving season, where even the smallest hint of sunshine will doubtless give the chance for its first 'hood down' outing of the year.
