The Aston Martin DB7 GTA was the top of the line DB7, only eclipsed by the DB7 GT that had the slightly more powerful engine and a manual gearbox. Conversely, the GTA is actually the rarer of the two, with only 112 made - of which 60 were for the UK market. Only the DB7 Zagato and the DB AR1 are rarer, with 99 cars made for each.

As with all GTAs, this car has the 'Touchtronic' semi-automatic gearbox, modified suspension, larger disc brakes, free flowing sports exhaust, unique 5 spoke alloy wheels and modified body aerodynamics. Plus it comes with the usual refinements of air conditioning and heated front and rear windscreens in addition to the sculptured seats from the V12 Vanquish. All these changes and more have been brought together to create a much more distinctive car than a standard DB7 Vantage.

Supplied new by Aston Martin Lagonda itself in March 2003, this RHD GTA comes in Canna di Fucile (a Ferrari 'gun metal' colour would you believe) and an Eclipse (dark red / purple) and Charcoal leather interior with Black Oak wood trim. The car has been serviced most recently by Aston Martin specialists Pugsley and Lewis in Kent and comes with all documents, a full service history, a spare set of keys, an as supplied battery trickle charger and is MOTd until the 7th of March 2023.

This GTA is in very good condition with only light signs of wear and tear expected of a car that's essentially 20 years old. And at just over 53,500 miles, it's certainly not a high mileage car by any means and is ready to be enjoyed after a recent full service.

The number plate of LA03 GTA comes with the car and is a most fitting addition to this rare Aston Martin.

The DB7 probably saved Aston Martin (again) and is one of the most important cars in the company's history - with the GT and GTA models being the pinnacle of DB7 production. As a result, these cars will become sought after by collectors when DB7 retail prices start to increase, as they surely will. Make no mistake, the DB7 GTA and GT models are guaranteed future classics.

And with this car's more interesting colour combinations than others available, this is an ideal opportunity to aquire a car that is certain to put a smile on your face as well as being an every day, usable investment.

This DB7 GTA is available for viewing and demonstration in our Hampshire showroom by appointment only. For peace of mind as a new owner, this Aston will be sold with a full pre-sale inspection by Chicane and 12 months MOT. Full details available on request.
